EXCAVATION & SITE WORK

COTTAGE EXCAVATION & SITE PREPARATION
START WITH YOUR PROJECT
What do you want to make room for?
A shed, an addition or a more useful outdoor space each needs a different starting point. We begin with what you want to accomplish, then look at the ground and the preparation needed to support it.
PLANNED AROUND THE PROPERTY
Work planned around your property.
01 · ACCESS & TERRAIN
A practical way into the site
Slopes, exposed rock and narrow access affect how equipment and materials reach the work. We assess those conditions before choosing a practical approach.
• Scope based on site conditions
02 · SURROUNDING PROPERTY
Room for the work, care for what stays
Trees, existing structures and the way water moves all matter. We plan the work area and material placement with attention to the parts of your property that stay in use.
• Practical work with a considered finish
Excavation for cottage projects.
CLEARING & SITE PREPARATION

Site Clearing & Preparation
We clear and prepare defined areas for cottage projects, including selective brush clearing, stump excavation and reshaping the ground. The work is planned around the space you need, equipment access and the trees or features you want to retain. Material handling and removal are agreed as part of the scope.
BUILDING PADS & AGGREGATE BASES

Building Pads & Bases
A shed or other planned structure needs a base suited to its use and the ground beneath it. We excavate, grade and prepare compacted aggregate pads for suitable cottage projects, considering the footprint, surrounding slopes and water movement. Preparation is matched to the requirements of what comes next.
FOUNDATIONS & UTILITY TRENCHES

Foundation Excavation & Trenching
CCG provides excavation for defined foundation scopes and trenches for utility or service lines. We coordinate the excavation with the project requirements and the trades completing the installation, with attention to access, existing services and backfilling. The work and responsibilities are confirmed before digging begins.
READY FOR WHAT COMES NEXT
A prepared site. A practical next step.
Good excavation leaves the ground ready for its intended use. From the first clearing to the agreed finish, we keep the next stage of your project in mind. Tell us what you want to accomplish—you do not need to have the excavation figured out before getting in touch.
